The year 2000 was the start of ZARA’S involvement in the hospitality industry. The first property was Springlands Hotel in Moshi; the Hotel is serving as the base for Kilimanjaro treks and safari adventures. Not shortly afterward, the Serengeti and Ikoma Wild Camp had been added, offering safari travelers the perfect bush experience at two of Tanzania’s most classic safari hotspots.
The Fourth is Highview Hotel opened in 2006, airly located on a hillside facing the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This hotel has been recognized for excellent service and dedicated staff by Tripadvisor and was offered a badge.
Zara’s Springlands Hotel will be your home base for Kilimanjaro treks and Tanzanian safaris. It is located 3 km from the center of Moshi at 800 m/2,600 ft. The rooms have twin beds, mosquito netting, and bathrooms with hot showers. All linens are included. The hotel grounds are fenced for security, so you can enjoy the evenings outdoors. There is dining indoors and in the outdoor tropical garden. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served with local and international dishes. Breakfast is included with the room. The bar serves beer and mixed drinks.

Cash and Visa/ Master Card are accepted at the Springlands Hotel. Except during low season (May 1-June 15 and November), all rooms are double and triple occupancy unless you pay for a single room.
For children under 12 years we charge 70% of the adult price. If the child is sharing the room with parents, we charge 50% of adult price.

Highview Hotel Karatu
The Highview Hotel is located 140 km North-West of Arusha outside the town of Karatu, set between the Southern Highlands Forest Reserve of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the surrounding coffee farms. This location is the ideal base for excursion trips to the Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara National Park and Lake Eyasi Area. Longer trips include Tarangire, Serengeti National Park and the Lake Natron area.
The Highview Hotel is at high elevation above the town of Karatu and its surroundings. From the balustrade in front of the rooms, visitors can enjoy a spectacular view over the surrounding hills and the local agricultural countryside. The hotel, which opened in 2006, is modern, comfortable and offers all kinds of contemporary amenities.

Zara Tours is accountable to Humanitarian support, under ZARA Charity a non- governmental organization established in 15/06/2009 under non-government organization act 2002 section 12(2) of Act no.24 Zara charity has brought together a group of charitable projects that provide valuable relief to suffering Tanzanian communities by providing basic needs to the disadvantaged group, we cannot do everything but we can do something.

Zara charity plays a vital role to enhance community economic development especially by supporting vulnerable groups in the community such as orphans, Maasai women group, and poor people such as porters who guide and help tourists climb Mt. Kilimanjaro and Meru through various community projects.
