During the Tanzanian low season (the complete months of OCTOBER, NOVEMBER, APRIL, MAY and from 1st to 15th of JUNE) we offer special packages at very attractive rates - you can live in lodges and only pay the price for camping!!

Note: All prices are per person in U.S. dollars. Adventures have set departure dates. The minimum group size is 2 people, and the maximum is 16 people. We can also arrange extra nights at the Springlands Hotel in Moshi if you are arriving early or staying longer.



PACKAGE #1 (6 days) Lake Manyara - Serengeti - Olduvai Gorge - Ngorongoro Crater

Itinerary in Brief:

Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, overnight at Springlands Hotel or similar hotel
Day 2- 6: 5 days of game drives at the above mentioned parks, then transfer to airport for departure flight back home.

Detailed Itinerary:

DAY 1: Arrive at the Kilimanjaro International Airport and be transferred to the Springlands Hotel or similar hotel for overnight bed and breakfast.

DAY 2: The drive from Moshi to Manyara National Park can take approx. 4 hours. In Manyara, after having a picnic lunch, you start the late afternoon with a game drive, which is also the best time to view animals in this park. When you approach Lake Manyara from the east, the Rift Valley escarpment looms on the horizon forming an impressive back drop to the lake. In the tall trees, forest monkeys leap from branch to branch, and on the escarpment, elephants stand in the shade of acacia. Other animals frequently seen are leopards, zebras, impalas, monkeys, giraffes, buffalos, hippos and others. Overnight at the Highview Hotel or similar hotel  (incl. Breakfast - Lunchbox - Dinner).

DAY 3: Drive to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge. Olduvai George is an archaeological site located in the eastern Serengeti plains, in which early human fossils ware first discovered. It has the amazing landscape that resulted from the tectonic forces, which created the Great Rift Valley million of years ago. Then in the late evening drive to Serengeti and overnight at the Ikoma Gorge Camp (basic camp) (incl. Breakfast - Lunchbox - Dinner).

DAY 4: After breakfast venture into the corners of wilderness Serengeti for a full day game viewing in the park. Picnic lunch besides you, take your leisure while exploring the only truly world heritage site, where largest concentration of plain game on earth still exists! In the late evening back for dinner and overnight at Ikoma Gorge Camp (basic camp) (incl. Breakfast - Lunchbox - Dinner).

DAY 5: Morning tour in Serengeti and afternoon drive to Ngorongoro then to Simba campsite or Highview Hotel for dinner and overnight. (incl. Breakfast - Lunchbox - Dinner).

DAY 6: The half-day drive to Ngorongoro Crater. This is undoubtedly the best place to see black rhino in Tanzania as well as the prides of lion that includes the magnificent black manned males. There are lots of colorful flamingoes and the variety of water birds. Other game-leopard, cheetah, hyena and lots of other members of the antelope family and small mammals of sorts can also be seen. In the afternoon, drive to the airport to catch the flight back home (Kilimanjaro Airport) (Breakfast - Lunchbox)




PACKAGE #2 (5 days) Lake Manyara - Ngorongoro Crater - Karatu or Empakai - Tarangire

Day 2-5: 3 days of game drives, 1 day walking tour of Karatu or Empakai Crater, next day drive to airport for departure flight back home.

DAY 4: Choose from hiking/cultural tours in Karatu or hiking in the Empakai Crater

KARATU: After breakfast, take a walking safari in coffee plantations, entering into the highlands around Karatu and go bird watching then back to the camp/hotel for a rest and lunch. In late afternoon, take another walk to local waterfalls or visit the cultural of the Iraqw people. In the evening return back to Highview Hotel or similar hotel for dinner and overnight.

EMPAKAI: After breakfast, drive through the highlands to the rim of the Empakai Crater. With its deep, very blue lake ringed by flamingo, Empakai is one of the most dramatic and beautiful treks. Walking in the crater, you will explore this unique forested crater on foot and marvel at the variety of wildlife and fauna. In the evening return back to Highview Hotel or similar hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: Drive from Karatu camp to Tarangire National Park, which takes approx. three and a half hours drive. This park is spectacular in the dry season when many of the migratory wildlife species come back to the permanent waters of Tarangire River. Huge herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, elands and Oryx gather to stay in Tarangire until the onset of the rain when they migrate again to good grazing areas. In the late evening drive to the airport to catch the flight back home (Kilimanjaro Airport) (Breakfast, Lunch box).
