Tanzania Wildcamps

When you go on a safari in Africa, you want  first-hand experiences of the wildlife, the landscapes, the natural wonders, and the exciting atmospheres of the black continent. You want to be in the middle of it.

Tanzania Wildcamps give you exactly this opportunity. Our safe and comfortable tented camps are located in the very heart of Tanzania´s most famous National Parks and game reserves. The tents are spacious (size approx. 4 m x 8 m; height 3.5 m), all equipped with a private shower and toilet, two king-size beds, a verandah, table and chairs. Please see the website of Tanzania Wildcamps.

Serengeti Wildcamp is located in the central part of the Serengeti National Park, the Seronera area. Coming from Ngorongoro, it is about 45 km from the Naabi Hill Gate, the Southern entrance of the park.

The mobile camp is composed of 18 comfortable tents with capacity to accomodate 2 guest each, and a large dining tent.

Ikoma Wildcamp is located between Grumeti and the Ikorongo Game Reserve, North-West of the Serengeti. The permanent camp lies between two kopjes - bizarrely shaped rocky inselbergs protruding from the underlying plains. There are 15 tents and 8 bomas (round traditional huts) with capacity to accomodate 2 guests each, and a thatched roof open restaurant. All tents and bomas have a stunning view over the surrounding savannah which is full of wildlife during the whole year. Ikoma is outstanding for game viewing foot safaris and night drives - both of which are not allowed inside the Serengeti.

The permanent camp is located on a river bank overlooking the plains of the Rufiji River which is at a walking distance of approx. 800 metres from the campsite. Once complete, the camp will have 10 tents and 5 round bandas with capacity to accomodate 2 guests each, a reception building and a large dining structure under a thatched makuti roof.
